Waterford River RhythmsJoin us again this summer for Waterford River Rhythms at Village Hall Park. We will have six shows this summer, June thru August.

JUNE 5 - The B3 Bombers
B3 BombersDan Trudell opens our music series once again this year but brings us a larger band. The B3 Bombers include a horn section that will wow you and one particular artist that may surprise you. These guys are the finest in straight ahead jazz / jam band and are no strangers to the Chicago music scene. Anybody ever heard of James Brown?

JUNE 19 - Reverend Raven

Reverend RavenThe Reverend has been playing the blues since 1971. He has opened for B.B. King, Gatemouth Brown, Pinetop Perkins, Koko Taylor Band, Junior Wells, Billy Branch, Magic Slim, Elvin Bishop, Sugar Blue, Lonnie Brooks, William Clarke, Lefty Dizz and others at festivals and at Buddy Guy's Legends. The Reverend won the Wisconsin Music Industry (WAMI) award for best blues band in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005 and the People's Choice Award in 2006. You gotta' see the Reverend!

JULY 3 - Barbara Stephan
Barbara StephanBarbara Stephan has extensive experience as a jazz / pop vocal performer in Milwaukee, Chicago and regional areas. Vocally, she is a master at authenticating any style she goes after. If you behave, you might hear some Joss Stone as well as her originals. She most recently performed background vocals for blues singer Susan Tedeschi and has been a regular performer at many of the major music venues in Milwaukee. JULY 17 - Jackie Brown and the Boys

Jackie Brown and the BoysReturning once again by popular demand, Jackie Brown and the Boys stretch the blues almost to alternative. Sprouting from a solo acoustic act, they now bring guitar-like flute solos, sweet strings & piano bass riffs, the occasional drum solo, and a voice that will give you chills. Think Janis Joplin.

AUGUST 7 - Altered Five
Food Vendor: Waterford Lioness Club
Altered FiveBased on last year's response, it was absolutely necessary to bring back Altered Five. They have built a solid reputation for performing an exciting brand of rockin' rhythm n' blues. The group performs funky, danceable versions of popular rock songs from the 70's to today. Notable performances include Summerfest, Shank Hall, Channel 4 and Channel 6 television morning shows.

AUGUST 21 - Sue DaBaco and Wise Fools
Food Vendor: The Cotton Exchange
Sue DaBaco and Wise FoolsOur closing night is going to be hot when Sue DaBaco brings her unique energy to the blues, influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the sultry soulfulness of Bonnie Raitt. Sue has opened for Frampton, Koko Taylor, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Lonnie Brooks. Trust us, you've never seen a woman make a grown guitar cry like Sue. Bring your ice cubes, this will be melt-your-face-off blues!

TL Sound
TL Sound will provide the professional touch in Sound and Lights this year. Tedd Lupella's been working in live audio for 30 years and attended Full Sail recording school ummm... way back in the day. He prefers the challenge of mixing live rather than in the studio setting. Tedd has worked with a long list of professional artists, including Mitch Ryder, Spider John Koerner, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Tracy Grammar, Bill Staines, Mike Stone (of Queensryche), Rare Earth, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Allison Brown, Greg Brown and many more. Village Hall Park will never sound better than it will this summer.

New Stage
Oh, and by the way, we are going to have a brand new permanent stage this year! Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Waterford Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Waterford, Village Hall Park will be well appointed with a beautiful, all natural stage. A great addition to one of Waterford's precious natural resources.
