We will have "seven shows" this year, June thru September. Our Mission is: "To continually provide an Upscale Event that will Enhance the Community." You are all familiar with Dan's keyboard wizardry, now add a little bit of Chicago's Southside flavor and look forward to some straight-ahead, swing and even some scat... more on Dan Trudell JUNE 17 - Shake Rag w/Jamie Barrons Pics coming soon... If you're from Waterford, then it's very likely you know who Jamie Barrons is and as well you should! If you're not, maybe these bands will ring a bell; Jelly Relish, Ditch Pig, Fat J and the Pinners, Fungus Garden, Velvet Jones and now Shake Rag. Jamie's rockin' vocals, accompanied by very skilled musicians, along with a stage presence that extends far beyond the perimeter of the stage, will leave you not wanting this show to end. Let's Rock Waterford! JULY 1 - The Swing-O-Matics Food Vendor: TBA Waterford, are you ready for some Swing? The Swing-O-Matics have been performing throughout the Midwest for the last ten years and are one the areas finest Swing bands. Some of their past clientele include Gov. Tommy Thompson, Summerfest, Zoo Ala Carte, Riversplash, Harley-Davidson and the list goes on. Bring your dancin' shoes... more on The Swing-O-Matics JULY 15 - King Solomon Food Vendor: TBA Hey Mon! King Solomon is Milwaukee's hottest Reggae band, hands down. They not only cover your favorites, but have quite a play list of original grooves. Some of their influences include Bob Marley, Sean Paul, Buju Bonton, Steel Pulse, Big Mountain and Maxi Priest. C'mon out for our first ever Carribean Party and make it a night of no worries mon... more on King Solomon AUGUST 5 - Jackie Brown and the Boys Food Vendor: Lions Club Friends of the Library Beer Tasting Due to your response and enthusiasm, Jackie Brown and the Boys are returning for their fourth year! This group has established quite the following in the Waterford area. As we push our genre to classic and alternative rock, you will once again have the pleasure of guitar-like flute solos, sweet strings, beautiful keys and of course, Jackie's phenominal vocal chords. Listen to her voice... more on Jackie Brown AUGUST 19 - Hobie and the Leftovers Food Vendor: TBA This lil' ol' Blues Band from Lake Geneva brought the house down last year, so we had to bring 'em back. If you're into the likes of SRV, then you need to be here! These three guys lay it down, right in front of you, simple as that. It will blow you away. And if we get lucky on this beautiful evening in August, Courtney will show up and treat us to some amazing Stevie Nicks renditions as well... more on Hobie and the Leftovers SEPTEMBER 2 - Westside Andy / Mel Ford Band Food Vendor: TBA We'll wrap this season up with one of the most powerful Blues acts in the area. Blues Brother Dan Aykroyd calls Andy Linderman "one of the most dynamic electric harmonica players of our generation." Jazz performer and producer Ben Sidran calls Mel Ford "one of the finest blues players in the Midwest, if not the country." Andy has worked with the likes of James Cotton, Corky Siegel, Jim Schwall, Luther Allison, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Charlie Musselwhite, The Doobie Brothers, Richie Havens, Muddy Waters, Ben E. King, Tab Benoit and The University of Wisconsin 250-piece band. Mel began in opening acts for Albert Collins, Freddie King and Stevie Ray Vaughn. He played with Bo Diddley, Sunnyland Slim, Zora Young, Junior Pettis, Ben Sidran and Paul Black and the Flip Kings (with Andy). Mel also played the part of bandleader in Mel Ford and the Fairlanes... more on Westside Andy / Mel Ford TNT Sound TNT Sound will provide the professional touch in Sound and Lights again this season. Due to the larger crowds, Tedd has expanded his system for us this year. Tedd has been working in live audio for 30 years and attended Full Sail recording school ummm... way back in the day. He prefers the challenge of mixing live rather than in the studio setting. Tedd has worked with a long list of professional artists, including Mitch Ryder, Spider John Koerner, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Tracy Grammar, Bill Staines, Mike Stone (of Queensryche), Rare Earth, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Allison Brown, Greg Brown and many more. Village Hall Park will never sound better... more on TNT Sound Parking Ample street parking is available through out the immediate area. You may find yourself walking a couple of blocks, but it's worth it! Please obey the temporary no parking signs on some of the nearby streets. Some of these streets are very narrow, so parking will be limited to one side of the street during the shows to ensure emergency vehicle access. And also, please try not to park on anyone's lawn. Village Hall Park is very close to our neighbors. We very much want everyone to enjoy us being there, because it truly is the perfect place to be. And don't forget about the municipal parking lot right next door to the fire / police building. It's right across the river from the park, just a short walk across the bridge.
