The architecture of many eras can be found throughout the area. Recent developments have added both affordable and executive housing. There is an array of lot sizes; from less than 1/4 acre to large acreages. The urban-like areas are surrounded by working farms, forest areas and scenic lakefront properties. BUSINESS GROWTH Waterford has been attracting the attention of large businesses, franchises and small business entrepreneurs for a number of years. Our economic environment is thriving as companies are finding the Waterford area an excellent place to start a business and recruit quality employees. The Waterford Industrial Park consist of 84 acres that include 28 businesses. Of these businesses, 17 are major employers in the manufacturing industry. The Waterford Centre Corporate and Commercial Park is where the new Runzheimer headquarters resides. The park currently has over 50 acres available for new business development. The service industry is also well represented by many companies that have found doing business in Waterford offers growth and prosperity.
