06 Full Moon 4 Miler Walk Waterford Library 8:30pm 262-534-5911 Bring your walking/running shoes to Waterford on Saturday, August 6 and join us for this unique run/walk under the evening stars. With over 500 participants last year this 4 mile certified course is sure to satifsy all! Registered particpants can look forward to a guaranteed runner's shirt, food and snacks post-race, and of course a beer (for those of age)! Join us in Village Hall Park after the race for the awards ceremony where 1st through 3rd place awards will be given in 13 categories including overall male and female! There will be music, food and drink for all both before and after the race! Whether you are running, walking, or just cheering the participants on, be sure to come to the park and enjoy! 06 Half Moon Mini Miler Waterford Union High School Track Field 3pm 262-534-5911 1st Annual Half Moon Mini Miler Kids Fun Run- Kids chose the level they wish to run 1/4 milke, 1/2 mile, 1 mile or 2 mile runs. All registered participants will receive a T-shirt and completion ribbon along with a goodie bag! Please call the Chamber of Commerce for registration information or visit www.waterford-wi.org
06 Waterford Area Canoe & Kayak Outing (WACKO) Bridge Drive Boat Launch 4:30pm 262-534-5911 Come test the waters of the Fox River! Whether you are an avid racer or leisure paddler you will not want to miss this opportunity to be on the water! Compete with other paddlers during this 5 mile trek down the river. OR make it fun and simply paddle with others, even get a group together! This event is for individuals or all ages and experience levels. Canoe/Kayak rentals available to pre-registered participants only while supplies last. Individual or tandem allowed. Awards presented for 1st through 3rd place in all categories. Join us in Village Hall Park after for music, food and drinks!
